Managing Peak Electricity: Approaches and Technologies for a Rapidly Electrifying Future

Managing peak electricity demand will become increasingly important as new technologies are incorporated into an electricity system designed and built based on historical electrical demands. This session highlights the research of Passive House Alberta to look at options for electrification without a service upgrade as well as energy management approaches for large buildings based on experiences at Johnson Controls. The panel discussion is moderated by Andrea Linsky – Director of Emissions-Neutral Buildings with ENBIX.

This session was recorded on April 23, 2024, at the Alberta Energy Efficiency + Innovation Summit in Calgary, Alberta.
